About Us - Brahm Opticians

For many years, Brahm Opticians has been regarded as the outstanding provider of eye care services for Alexandria and its surrounding communities. At our practice, you will find a compassionate and experienced team who are dedicated to providing a full spectrum of high-quality personalized eye care for your whole family. Our goal is to meet and exceed your expectations by providing friendly service, professional care, and quality products at affordable prices. Our vision care services include complete eye examinations for adults and children, contact lens examinations and fittings and a full array of frame selection and fittings.

We also carry a wide selection of designer frames, sunglasses and sports eyewear in our optical shop in order to fulfill the individual needs of each of our patients. Some of the designer frames we carry are Silhoutte, Kenneth Cole, LuLuCabana, Cavalli, Costa del Mar, RayBan, Timberland, Anglo American, Vera Bradley, Nicole Miller, Intrigue and Apex. Meet Our StaffNancy Benjamin - Owner

Entrepreneur, Author, Teacher, Philanthropist, Mother Nancy Benjamin, a Northern Virginia native, is the sole owner and operator of Brahm Opticians. Nancy began her career as an optician in 1979. At the age of just 16, she entered the optician workforce as an apprentice and began aggressively pursuing and obtaining the necessary certifications and credentials to one day strike out on her own. A distinctive entrepreneurial spirit guided her, and a short time later in 1987 she accomplished her dream of becoming a business owner by acquiring Brahm Opticians, all while balancing the demands of early motherhood and raising a family. She has tirelessly demonstrated devotion to her trade, fostering future entrepreneurs by providing instruction in her field for over 26 years.
