KINGS VIEWKings View is a health care provider with a long history of providing a diverse array of behavioral health care services.Our primary area of service is Central and Northern California. Kings View concentrates on providing services to individuals that are unserved or underserved as a result of geographical location, financial limitations, or lack of understanding and awareness.

Our goal is to contribute to the wellbeing of patients and clients served by being attentive to their needs for wholeness (body, mind & spirit). Kings View has close historical and current connections with the Mennonite faith community and is a sponsoring member of Mennonite Health Services – Alliance (www.mhsonline.org) , a national organization of health care providers.

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO TULARE COUNTY South Tulare County Mobile Services The purpose of the South Tulare County Mobil Services is to provide

"in the field" culturally competent mental health services to underserved/un-served individuals of all ages and families in the small communities of South Tulare County. These MHSA services are intended to both reach out to those individuals in need of services who have been unable to obtain them and to provide services in new and innovative ways. The successes of the MHSA projects in Tulare County will be replicated by the County system as a whole.

These MHSA programs are intended to "do what ever it takes" to assist the client in achieving stable mental health. "What ever it takes" allows the staff to provide a wide range of service not normally provided in traditional mental health clinics.

Currently we are delivering services to clients in their home communities. We have a mobile RV with both medical and mental health staff that will locate in various small communities in south Tulare County on a regular scheduled basis. Transportation is provided to the clients and families to the RV site for services as needed or services at home.

WARM LINE A warm Line is a telephone service designed to

solve minor problems or to prevent those problems from becoming serious.

A Warm Line is a generic term for a “non-emergency,” non-crisis support and referral telephone response service.

Warm Line offer immediate access to live help and are a cost-effective alternative to a crises line. (hotline)

We provide information about mental health illness. Warm Line is a county wide services through MHSA.

A warm line is staffed by members of the community that have life experience the person who answer in the warm line are consumer themselves or family members who are able to listen carefully but don’t give advice to the consumer.

It can also be a referral service that allows us to guide you to community resources.

We are not here to give advice or problem solve or tell you what we think you should do. We listen….

We can refer you to someone that can help you a Therapist or Psychology.

There is nothing that you need to pay for this service, it’s funded from MHSA through the county of Tulare and is meant to be for the public at a toll free service.

We offer this service at no cost to you in more than one language.

Everything that is spoken between the consumer and the Peer Support Specialist is confidential and you can choose to give a anonymous name if you don’t feel comfortable giving your real name.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL SERVICES

Our goal is to promote a recovery lifestyle characterized by total abstinence, the development of healthy life skills, and the development of a recovery community.

All treatment services are offered by qualified and experienced staff members who hold state or national substance abuse treatment certifications.

Provide full access to treatment, rehabilitation, and support services in a coordinated and comprehensive system of care that is culturally competent.

Continuity of care. Treatment that meets standards of care that are supported by best

practice research. Pharmacological intervention based primarily on efficacy and total cost

rather than short-term costs. Treatment in the least restrictive setting that is consistent with both

safety and reasonable expectations of benefit. Safe, supportive housing with the ultimate goal being housing as

independent as possible. Daily activity that is meaningful, productive, and life-enhancing. Social opportunities and collegiality within a community. Support services that assist attaining the highest level of quality of life

for each individual served.

This agency provide a mobile unit that going at different towns in Tulare County to facilitate mental health care to people who lives in rural areas and don’t have transportation.
