1. It’s in you

Many of the human body’s physiological processes are controlled by the endocannabinoid system. Cannabinoids aren’t found anywhere except in thehuman body and in the cannabis plant (apart from mother’s breast milk). This system affects appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory amongst otherthings. So humans are biologically linked to this plant whether they like it or not.

2. The US patented it in 2003

Despite the official line that marijuana has ‘no medical benefits’, the US has patented marijuana: patent #6630507

On their official website they state:

“Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makescannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related,inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limitingneurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such asAlzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and HIV dementia.”

3. It does cure skin cancer

Most people have heard about Rick Simpson and the work he has been doing with cancer patients and cannabis oil.

4. It may cure all cancers

Over 600 peer reviewed papers show that numerous cancer types (lung, breast, prostrate, glioma, thyroid, leukemia, lymphoma, basal cell carcinoma,melanoma) are killed by canabinoids in tissue culture and animal studies. More here (pdf). And here.

5. Smoking it doesn’t cause cancer

Smoking cannabis does NOT lead to lung cancer, the largest ever study of this shows.

6. Not taking cannabis may cause health problems

Scientists have started to speculate that the root cause of disease conditions such as migraines and irritable bowel syndrome may be a deficiency inendocannabinoids.
