Rosacea is a skin condition that ischaracterized by dilated blood vessels which

give the skin a flushed appearance.

This skin condition usually occurs in people over the age of 30 andevidence has shown that it is hereditary and is most common in Irish,

English, Scandinavian and Scottish heritages.

1. Hot Drinks

Lower temperature or limitconsumption of hot drinks including

coffee and tea.

2. Spicy Foods

Hot peppers, hot sausage, andcajun style foods cause rosacea

flare-ups.

3. AlcoholVarious types of

alcohol affect people'srosacea differently but

red and white winehave a higherpercentage of

triggering a flare-up.

4. ExtremeWeather

Extreme cold and wind canalso trigger a flare-up so it

is important to bundle,cover your face with a scarfand use moisturizer whenwalking around in the cold.

instead switch to a low tomedium intensity workout.

9. Stress/AnxietyTry to live a lifestyle with

minimal stress andpractice stress

management like a eatinga healthy diet and getting

enough sleep.

10. Vasodilators

Vasodilators are drugs that are commonlyused for lowering blood pressure and make

blood vessels dilate.
