History of the NZAF

The New Zealand AIDS Foundation (NZAF) is New Zealand’s leading HIV prevention and care organisation. The NZAF provides positive health services to anyone affected by HIV and HIV prevention programmes to the communities most at risk, as well as research, analysis and policy leadership.

Conclusion• There is convincing evidence that it works:

(12.6% drop in newly diagnosed HIV cases within NZ-based African communities over 3 years (2006-08))

• Heterosexual and homosexual programmes can work together professionally, in harmony to achieve the desired outcomes

• In my view what is needed, among other things is;RESPECT, PASSION, COMMITMENT, SENSITIVITY and above all, PROFESSIONALISM

• So you see, it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
