In Association with International Womens Day Organization Derby, United Kingdom
Worldwide, women continue to contribute to social, economic, cultural and politicalachievement. And we have much to celebrate today. But progress towards genderparity has slowed in many places.
The World Economic Forum predicted in 2014 that it would take until 2095 toachieve global gender parity. Then one year later in 2015, they estimated that aslowdown in the already glacial pace of progress meant the gender gap wouldn'tclose entirely until 2133.
So how do we want to celebrate International Women's Day 2016?
We say by Pledging For Parity!
• PLEDGE CAMPAIGN – Signature Board Campaign at multiple locations(IT
Parks/Colleges/Malls/Apartments) in the week of 8th March
• Street Play By College Students
• Promotional materials/Goodies can be handed out with sponsors logo during the campaign
across colleges/IT Parks/Residential Communities ( 1-5th March)
• On 8th march event will be conducted in well known Tech park in Bangalore
• WOMENS DAY EVENT On 8th march event will be conducted in well known Tech park/Mall in
Bangalore
• Self Defense Work Shop
• Cooking Contest /Mehndi Sessions
• Music / Fun Activities
• Street Plays
• Open Market by Women Entrepreneurs
• Free Goodies for Women
Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) Activity
Goodwill/Loyalty Building Activity/ Branding Visibility
