OUR REQUESTCity to install No Parking/No Stopping signs for these areas:
1. Carniel Ave. between Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and Blue Meadow Court, both directions
2. Sumner Drive between Fredericksburg and McCartysville, both directions
JUSTIFICATION3. Cars parked along curbs are dangerous to vehicles, pedestrians,
bicycles, & children with nearby high-speed streets
4. Adequate alternate safe parking nearby in neighborhood
5. California vehicle code authorizes action for this request
6. Additional benefit to prevent burglars from hiding/loitering

Most of the residents of this neighborhood, known as Meadowbrook consisting of 48 homes on 4 streets, support this request. Upon learning only recently that we individually had these concerns, we formed a shared voice to bring these issues to this committee.
