ABOUT INDIAN CANCER SOCIETY

ICS was established in Mumbai in 1951 by the pioneer of Oncology

services, Dr Jussawala and Mr Naval Tata. The Delhi branch was started in

1983. It is the oldest cancer NGO in India. Dr. Jussawala realized even in

those early days that unless we worked to detect cancer early & give

people a fighting chance to battle it, no amount spent on treatment could

win against the Big C. Provision of Cancer Information and high quality-low

cost Cancer Screening thus has been the cornerstone of ICS activity.
