• We were a part of the Department of Community Safety, but are now a
division of the Department of Jus.ce and ACorney-‐General.
• Eight secure correc.onal centres across the State. Another two centres
privately managed under contract.
• Two stand alone low custody centres.
• Proba.on and Parole division with >32 district offices across the State.
• In recent years, we have experienced high levels of prisoner growth.
• Double up accommoda.on for prisoners is now the norm.
Workforce of 4000, of which 2600 are custodial officers.

The thing is, someone reading this may not be lucky should they ignore the symptoms. Its beCer to call the ambulance and go home on a false alarm and feel a liCle foolish, than end up dead. When I was in hospital the nurses said, only 50% people in their 40's make it because they choose to ignore the symptoms. Hope this helps. Anthony At Wolston C.C.
