Identified issues for CBC LV/EE

1st planners meeting: items should be prepared for meeting 1.Timing and content of national and trans boundary procedures and procedures fir information exchange, planned time schedule for public events2.Data sharing for draft plans - content and conditions 3.Identified cross sectorial areas and issues to discuss4.Procedures for information exchange and communication- LV/EE (internal)

So far identified cross-border issues LV:1.Fisheries, protection measures for spawning grounds, catching areas, state of coastal fisheries, areas where fishing is prohibited2.Dumped weapons – location, information available, research activities/possibilities3. National program of measures to implement MSFD - tasks, main measures3.Use of data – availability, conditions –basic maps, sectorial information, environmental information4. Mapping of ecosystem services- techniques and data used

Issues to be discussed before 1st planners meeting LV/EE:

Should we discuss only MSP procedures or the whole picture, including sectorial legislation(for energy, fisheries, MPA etc.)?Input data: 1) hydrological maps(resolution, availability, accessibility)2) environmental data –mapping of resources, mapping of environmental conditions,

mapping of ecosystem services(methodology, approach) mapping of existing sea uses .Data to provided by HELCOM- resolution, availability!! dumped chemicals- do the HELCOM have data?!!!!!! How to provide mapping and description for case studies to make them coherent in terms of data and maps used? When and how?!!!!! SEIA setting the dates for cross border consultation and preparatory meetings. LV will conduct series of meetings at national level to discuss scenarios of sea use (part of SEIA process)
