“Unlocking publicly-owned sites to speed up the delivery

of housing is a key priority for us at the HCA…the scheme demonstrates that we are able to provide valuable, targeted

support to bring forward new

developments that will play a

vital role in helping the City Deal to meet its ambitions.”

Mark Vaughan HCA Senior Area Manager Lancashire & CumbriaNorth West

“Cottam Meadow is a

visionary development for us.

It’s one of the first sites in the

country to be awarded the new

design standard, ‘Built for Life’

– that means we are not just building homes to the highest standards, but we are creating

great places to live.

As part of that, I am delighted that Barratt has also contributed

£135,000 to help establish a

cycleway and improve local

play areas.”
