Congratula4ons!  You  are  just  a  few  steps  away  from  star4ng  your  volunteering  experience  with  AIESEC    

In  order  to  have  access  to  all  our  opportuni(es,  you  will  need  to  signup  to  the  AIESEC  Interna(onal  Pla@orm  (internships.aiesec.org),  the  online  system  that  allows  you  to  search  and  apply  for  volunteering  vacancies  in  over  124  countries  worldwide!    

In  this  booklet  you  will  find  a  simple  step-­‐by-­‐step  tutorial  about  how  to  create  your  profile  and  start  browsing  our  opportuni(es.

Ge@ng  startedEverything  starts  when  you  click  “Şimdi  Kayıt  Ol!”.  At  this  moment  you  will  be  leaving  from  the  website  of  AIESEC  in  Turkey  (aiesec.org.tr)  to  joining  the  AIESEC  Interna(onal  Pla@orm  (internships.aiesec.org).

Step  1:  Signup  in  the  systemIn  this  first  step  you  will  create  your  own  account  in  the  AIESEC  Interna(onal  Pla@orm  by  selec(ng  “I’m  a  new  user”,  as  you  can  see  in  the  form  below.

Step  1:  Signup  in  the  systemMake  sure  you  fill  all  the  required  informa(on  and  agree  with  terms  &  privacy  condi(ons,  then  click  on  “Register”

Step  2:  Complete  your  profileASer  signing  up  will  need  to  insert  more  informa(on  about  you  (such  as  date  of  birth)  and  also  your  interest  (field  of  work  and  interested  issues)  in  order  to  encounter  the  most  suitable  opportuni(es  for  you.  Please  mind  that  without  filling  the  profile  completely  you  won’t  be  able  to  visualise  all  the  available  vacancies.  Once  you  finished,  click  “Next”.

Step  3:  Select  exchange  typeAIESEC  provides  two  types  of  exchange  programmes,  Global  Ci(zen  and  Global  Talent.  To  apply  for  the  Global  Ci(zen  programme,  please  select  the  “Volunteering  Experiences”  and  confirm  “Yes”.

Step  4:  Browse  opportuni4esNow  that  you  have  your  account  completed  and  you  chose  to  grab  a  voluntary  experience,  you  can  start  looking  for  a  suitable  project  for  you.

Step  4:  Browse  opportuni4esTo  make  the  projects’  research  easier  for  you,  in  this  part  of  the  page  you  can  filter  the  type  of  opportuni(es  you  are  looking  for  by  selec(ng  key  words.

Step  4:  Browse  opportuni4esOn  the  project  page,  you  will  find  all  the  informa(ons  about  it,  such  as  the  job  descrip(on  and  the  skills  and  background  required.  Please  make  sure  to  read  carefully  all  the  details.  Need  help?  You  can  always  contact  the  AIESEC  Office  in  your  city!

Step  5:  Apply  for  opportuni4esNow  that  you  found  the  project  you  were  looking  for  you  can  apply  for  it  by  clicking  in  the  “Apply  now”  bu\on  in  the  same  page.  Your  applica(on  will  be  automa(cally  sent  to  the  responsible  for  the  project.  You  can  apply  for  maximum  15  projects  simultaneously.  

Heads  up!You  can  find  a  message  bug  while  trying  to  apply.  In  this  case,  all  what  you  need  to  do  is  to  refresh  the  page,  or  to  log  out  then  log  in  once  again.    

Some(mes,  the  apply  bu\on  might  not  work  even  if  you  try  many  (mes,  in  this  case,  please  contact  the  AIESEC  Office  in  your  city  and  one  of  our  members  will  be  glad  to  help  you!

Step  6:  Track  your  applica4onOnce  you  apply  for  the  project,  the  host  en(ty  will  study  your  profile  and  get  back  to  you.  If  you  are  accepted,  they  will  approve  your  applica(on,  and  your  AIESEC  Office  will  to  do  the  same  aSer  signing  the  Exchange  Contract  with  AIESEC  and  comple(ng  the  Payment.  You  can  followup  the  status  of  all  your  applica(ons  in  a  unique  page  by  clicking  in  “My  Applica8ons”  in  the  Menu  Bar.  During  the  whole  process,  please  contact  the  AIESEC  Office  in  your  city  for  help  or  for  any  concerns.

That’s  it!Well  done!  Now  that  you  are  accepted  for  one  of  our  projects  you  are  ready  to  start  your  experience  with  AIESEC.  

From  now  on  you  will  count  with  full  support  from  one  of  our  members  to  ensure  you  will  have  the  best  possible  journey  during  your  exchange,  such  as  prepara(on  seminaries  and  logis(cal  support.
