Azerbaijani delegation in the Paris Peace Conference. Paris,1919

It was very hard to build a new government when you were being attacked by

regional states and the great oppression from the North (Russia). These pressures,

conflicts in the region, aggression by neighbors, affected to collapse of the government

immediately and therefore Xalq Cumhuriyyeti lived only 23 months. In 1920 Azerbaijan

were occupied by Russians and we became the part of the Soviet Union.

After 70 years, after the breakdown of Soviets, evil deeds were done

in the region. Azerbaijan got its freedom with bloody fight. In 1990

Bloody January occurred in Baku. Thousands of people got killed by

Soviet Soldiers because of their eager and their yearnings for

freedom.

During 1988-1994 in The Karabakh War many Azerbaijanis

fought for their homeland and 11 districts were occupied by

Armenians.

“Baku metro bombing” in 1994

of an explosion of train in the

explosion on a passenger train from

Moscow to Baku near Khasavyurt

injuring more than 20.

Terrorism is a lot of

people watching and

not a lot of people

dead. But after some

years he changed his

thoughts and said:

“Terrorism is a lot of

people watching and

a lot of people dead.”

There is a quote that “In terror,

violent acts are not an aim, it is just

instrument. “ And Armenians used

this instrument to threaten and

panic us. It is my opinion that

anxiety is very uncongenial for the

future of the nation. Armenians used

many tools and instruments for

making terror against Azerbaijan.

From 1989 to 1994, Armenian

separatists and terrorists committed

373 terrorist acts in the territory of

Azerbaijan. These resulted in 1,568

people killed and 1,808 were

injured.

These terrible events must get

their political and legal

assessment as the crime against

the entire humanity.
