Cords /adaptors are separate checkouts
• Kindle Paperwhites did not come with usb power adapters!
Each eReader is charged overnight
before the next checkout
Circulation staff check the device
for damage and settings.

Checkouts have been steady
30 devices have checked out 217 times in 18 weeks
Fiction titles average 7.6 checkouts, Nonfiction 6.6 checkouts
Not many holds, may be more of an impulse
Mystery, Biography and Historical Fiction are the most popular
OUTTAKES
Kindle Paperwhites can increase font size but do NOT have text
to speech.
You must provide an accessible option for any customers who
request it.
Kindle Fire and iPads seem to have the most accessible options.
Very few actual e-ink readers with TTS, used to be more.
