With 80% bio-diversity & ambitious future plans, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board
aims to create India’s biggest Eco-Tourism hub.
For this purpose only the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has received 113.5 crores
project prioritization from Ministry of Tourism Government of India.
The Cabinet Minister in Bharaiya Janta Party, Ajay Chandrakar along with his team
has earmarked ambitious plan outlay to establish the state as one of the most preferred
tourism destinations in the country, in line with the National Tourism Policy.
A rich culture, unexplored tourism circuits will create gamut of opportunities
like job creation & increased wealth, improved status of living will make it the
biggest ever socio-cultural exercise.
In line with the far-sighted tourism development outlook of the new government in the centre,
Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, under the aegis of Chhattisgarh Government has created a blue-print
of future tourism plans that will help establish Chhattisgarh as India’s biggest Eco-Tourism hub.
According to Ajay Chandrakar, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and Culture, Cabinet
Minister in Bharatiya Janta Govt. of Chhattisgarh, Chhattisgarh is a vibrant state
which can easily utilize its resources , the richest assets to develop Tourism.
The state has already been conferred the National Tourism Award 2012-13 for the
publication of best tourism literature, which seeks to make a common achievement every
year by creating more tourism oriented schemes.
Therefore the immediate need is to give priority to the schemes pertaining to the tourism
development and related activities according to the Union Government’s National Tourism
Plan with the assistance of Cabinet Minister in Bharatiya Janta Party.
