Held special meeting regarding the Finding of No Significant Impact for the use of an Explosive Destruction Technology (EDT) at Blue Grass
Set the three Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) reactors in the SCWO Processing Building
Decision to implement EDT at Blue Grass
Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass selects the Static Detonation Chamber system as the EDT to destroy problematic mustard munitions in the Blue Grass stockpile

Workers set the first Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) reactor in its skid within the SCWO Processing Building. The reactors will treat the waste water, or hydrolysate, generated from the chemical munitions destruction process.
