INTERNATIONAL CHEESE AWARDS 2014. WINNERSAGAIN!!

The awards season has started and as usual, the International Cheese Awards are
the first stop. And no doubt it couldn’t have started in a better way for us:
We’ve won two new medals for our cheeses! The first one is a Bronze Medal for
our Aged in Paprika Campoestrella cheese, competing in the Cheese Made with
100% Sheep´s Milk category. We’re very happy about this because it’s the first
award we get for one of our specialties
The second medal is for one of our most popular cheeses, the spreadable cheese

“Caprichos de la Pastora”, which got the Silver Medal also in the Cheese Made
with 100% Sheep´s Milk category.
These awards are particularly special for two reasons: the first one due to the
increasing amount of samples of cheeses submitted this year (4443 samples, a
record in participation!!!!). The second reason is the quality of the submitted
cheeses. In our category we were up against cheeses such as Manchego or
Idiazabal cheese.
Considering the quantity and quality of our competitors, we appreciate these
medals even more than we did last years.
The 200+ judges of the International Cheese Awards had a hard task, and we are
sure all the submitted cheeses were amazing, but we consider it this way:

We got two out of the three medals in the category we competed in. This kind of
recognition, and the support we get from our clients every day encourages us to
keep working harder and harder to elaborate the best cheese in the world.
