Fish Amok

• Often called Cambodia’s national dish, the dish is made of fish, coconut milk and curry paste.

• All the ingredients is mixed and put in the banana leaf cups and coconut cream is added on top and steamed.

Bai Sach Chrouk

• A popular breakfast dish in Cambodia

• The pork is marinated in coconut milk or garlic and then slow grilled.

• The dish is served with a potion of broken rice, fresh pickled cucumber and daikon radish.

• On the side a bowl of chicken broth with scallions is served

Kuy Teav

• A noodle soup consisting of rice noodles, pork broth and pork toppings

• A popular breakfast dish in Southeast Asia

• The dish is garnished with scallions and fried garlic and served with chili sauce, lime halves and hoisan sauce

Khmer Noodles

• Also known as Nom banh chok is a breakfast dish in Cambodia.

• Usually sold by women carrying baskets with the noodles, which is stored in a flower like spiral shape

• Served with mint leaves, bean sprouts, green beans, cucumbers and banana flower etc

Green papaya salad

• Famous in many parts of Southeast Asia

• The salad combines five main tastes; sour lime, hot chili, salt, savory fish sauce and sweet taste

• The ingredients are mixed together and then pounded on

• The ingredients include papaya, chili, sugar, garlic, lime, fish sauce and dried shrimp etc.

• Variations can be created with the use of unripmangoes, apples, cucumbers etc.
