Remote management on each lighting point, energy saving,

integrated services for the Smart City. The system that revolution-

izes the management and use of outdoor and street lighting grids.

Thanks to the patented technique to recognize the lamp

faults and the installation of the PLC module in series on

the power supply network, Minos System allows the con-

stant remote control of every single lighting point of the

plants. Through this innovative and unique system, we can

have a precise diagnosis about all the lamp faults and to

know all the lamp functioning status.

The use of the PLC transmission (Power Line Communica-

tion) enables you to communicate with each single light-

ing point exploiting the existing electric line, without

adding any new and expensive cable. The system allows

to decide in which particular area to operate and in which

time to send ON/OFF and flux reduction commands to the

lighting points. Moreover we can also get all the informa-

tion about the status and/or malfunctioning of each lamp.

comfortable control all over the

public lighting network. Minos X

software has been realized with an

user-friendly concept: with a simple

click you constantly have the plants

status under control, wherever you

are. Thanks to the IOS Server, Linux

platform based, you can access to

Minos X and to all the recorded data

with the maximum safety.

the phenomenon of light reflected

off the road surface, thanks to the

possibility to program, depending

on the hours and on the basis of

traffic flows, when turn on/off or

dimm the light flow of each light

point, ensuring the security lighting.

the system, the investment return in

a short time by generating financial

resources. The amortization time

depends on the characteristics of the

plants (n° of lighting points, power

and type of lamps). The various

Videosurveillance

PLC (Power Line Communication)

allows high-speed data transfer

(broadband) and, thanks to Minos

System, the single lamp post

becomes a LAN point. It is possible

to install one or more IP cameras,

thus having, in a short time, a safe

video surveillance system. Thanks to

this innovative solution, the author-

ized user, through a normal internet

browser, can easily control the

cameras and monitor the territory

remotely, wherever he is.

Parking management

Having useful information to find a

parking in a short time is a solution

to reduce problems related to

mobility and to reduce cities’

pollution. Power Parking System

(PPS) is the revolutionary and

innovative platform that allows

managing easily parking and

mobility in urban and extra-urban

areas. This solution uses Minos

System that, by exploiting the public

lighting and the existing network,

enables sensors’ management useful

to monitor free places, parking

payments and any possible infrac-

tions.

Smart traffic control

The problems of monitoring the

traffic and foreseeing in real time

car flow changing are now over-

come, thanks to the Wise Traffic

Controller (WTC) solution. WTC is a

revolutionary device that gives in

real time information about passing

vehicles on urban and extra urban

roads and it is able to identify their

category (motorbikes, cars, trucks)

and average speed. This is a useful

tool to gather information to issue a

lighting town plan.

The uninterrupted power supply provid- ed thanks to Minos System devices con- nected to the remotely controlled light- ing allows installing info and advertising displays without adding new infrastruc-tures. These displays messages can be customised thanks to Minos X software. Creating new backgrounds, creating custom-made screens and take elec- tronic post cards become easier, quicker and can meet any needs.

Wi-Fi Connection

Thanks to the broadband communica-tion on Powerline, Minos System turns the lighting plants in a LAN and the lamp post in a communication point, where it is possible to install hot-spot WI-FI, able to grant a widespread and infrastructure low cost internet service.

This is a fast answer to delete the digital divide and to provide citizens and final users with an easy access to internet.
