All living organisms like plants, animals,Microorganisms and human beings and Physical surroundings interact with each Other and maintain a balance in nature. This forms an ecosystem.

It begins with Sun.

Sun Is the main and only sourceof energy

The producers or the autotrophs capture the energy present in sunlight & convert it Into chemical energy and this Energy supports all the activities of living world.The Green plants in a terrestrial ecosystem Capture about 1% of the energy of a Sunlight.That falls on their leaves and convert it into Food energy

From autotrophs the energy goes to hectrotrophs and decomposers. When one form of energy is changed, some energy is lost to the environment informs which cannot be used again .About 10% of energy is turned into the organisms body and made available for the next level of consumers.

Here the energy Is finally consumed by the carnivores and the top carnivores. When these organisms die and get decomposed in the soil the cycle again starts.

But due to some Human activitties These ecosystems have been effected In many ways …like

Habitat destruction

Hunting

poaching

Over exploitation

Pollution and poisoning

Forest fires

If we love our nature

Then we’ll have to work together
