4일간 펼쳐진 물산업 축제

국내 물산업 분야 최대 규모의 박람회인 ‘2015 WATER KOREA(국제물산업박람회)’가 8월 25일부터 28일까지 4일간

KINTEX(킨텍스) 제2전시장에서 20개국 190개 기업이 참가하여 성황리에 개최되었다.

전시회는 2만여명의 참관객과 바이어가 방문하여 국내·외의 높은 관심을 나타냈으며 국제교류행사, 세미나 등 30여건의

다양한 연계행사가 진행 되었다.

특히 올해는 ‘대한민국 수도기술대전’, ‘회원선정 우수제품상’이 처음으로 개최되어 참가기업들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

8월 개최로 지난해 대비 전시회 규모가 다소 축소되었으나 30여건의 역대 가장 많은 수의 연계행사가 개최되어 전시회뿐만

아니라 인적, 기술적 교류를 확장하는 매개체 역할을 담당하였다.

아시아 지역에서 TOP5에 들어가는 전문 전시회답게 관련 종사자 및 전문가들의 참여가 매우 활발하게 이루어졌으며,

국제교류행사를 통해 미국, 중국, 일본, 인도네시아, 말레이시아, 카자흐스탄, 동티모르, 미얀마, 호주 등 다양한 국가의 해외

인사가 참여해 주었다.

수도기술대전, 회원선정 우수제품상 등 우수기업을 발굴하고 격려하기 위한 프로그램이 새롭게 신설되어 기업의 큰 호응을

얻었으며 자랑스런 상하수도인상 시상식을 통해 평소 우리나라 물산업 발전을 위해 노력해온 이들을 격려하였다.

환경부 정연만 차관은 개막식 축사를 통해 “WATER KOREA는 우리나라 물산업의 경쟁력을 알리고 해외시장 진출을 도모하며

기업과 정부, 관련 기관을 연결하는 좋은사례로 생각된다”라고 평가하였다.

‘WATER KOREA’, Korea’s leading water industry exhibition

Korea’s leading water industry exhibition ‘WATER KOREA 2015 (International Water Industry Expo)’ was successfully held in the Seoul KINTEX Exhibition Hall from August 25 to 28, with 190 participating companies from 20 countries. The number of visitors was estimated to be around 20,000, showing a high level of interest from all around the world. Seminars, international exchange events, and many other related events took place within the exhibition.

Celebrating its 14th anniversary this year, WATER KOREA held a business-optimized exhibition while hosting many other related events, such as export counseling, academic events, and seminars, boasting its scale and superior content in Korea. The visitors came from all around the world; the United States, China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, among many others.

This exhibition is among the TOP 5 within the Asian region in its size and contents which still continue to grow. A huge number of Korean companies participated with their products and technology in pipes, pumps, valves, water treatment devices, water tanks, water quality measuring devices, etc.

Officials from the Ministry of Environment, water service providers from local governments, and many other government officials participated in the exhibition which proved its prominent position in Korea. 전시회 exhibition

올해 전시회는 지난해 8월 개최로 지난해 대비 전시규모가 다소 축소되었으나 12,000s/m면적에 14개 국가 190개사, 600부스

규모로 개최되었으며 4일간 2만여명이 전시장을 방문하였다.

전시기간 중 ‘회원선정 우수제품상’, ‘수출상담회’, ‘전시기업 제품 및 기술설명회’가 전시장 내에서 동시에 진행되어 전시기간

내내 많은 수의 국내외 관계자들이 전시장을 방문하였다.

This year’s exhibition held in August was relatively reduced in its size compared to last year to 12,000s/m; however, 190 companies from 14 countries held 600 booths and recorded 20,000 visitors in 4 days.

“Award selected by the government officials”, “Business Match-making,” and “Products and technologies presentation by exhibitors.” were held during the exhibition which attracted many related parties to the event.

수출상담회 Business Match-Making

기업의 해외진출을 지원하기 위하여 지난해에 이어 올해 두 번째로 개최하는 행사로 베트남 5개사, 말레이시아 3개사, 중국

4개사, 호주 1개사, 홍콩 1개사, 코스타리카 1개사 총 15개사가 초청되어 이틀간의 일정으로 국내기업 37개사와 활발한 상담을

진행하였다. 상담회를 통해 전체 195건의 3,690만달러 규모의 상담이 진행되었으며 향후 23건 323만 달러 규모의 계약이

예상되고 있다.

A number of overseas firms were invited and held conferences with domestic companies in order to promote business between domestic and overseas companies. This event was opened for the second time since it started last year. A total of 15 companies were invited, 5 from Vietnam, 1 from Australia, 1 from Hong Kong, 1 from Costa Rica; within the scheduled 2-day session, 195 meeting were held with 37 Korean companies.

WATER KOREA is the best platform in Korea as a specialized exhibition for the entire field of the water industry which shows products and technology at a glance; valves, pumps, piping, manholes, water tanks, water treatment devices, mensuration, measuring devices, water purifiers, seawater desalination, etc. The exhibition was classified into a total of 7 categories in order to promote its specialty and help visitors focus on the respective product lines. Among the participating companies, those dealing with water and sewage materials and products had the highest participation rate.

Events 연계행사

“사람, 기술, 산업을 하나로 연결한다”는 WATER KOREA의 취지답게 박람회에선 정부, 기업, 학술단체, 연구소, 유관단체 등의 연결고리로써 세미나, 국제교류행사, 유관기관 회의 등 연계행사가 다양하게 진행되었다. 20여건의 세미나, 4건의 국제교류행사

등으로 국내·외 물산업 분야에 종사하고 있는 정, 관, 산, 학, 연 관계자들의 큰 호응이 이어졌다.

As WATER KOREA’s motto “Connects people, technology, and industry together.” says, the exhibition hosted various related events such as seminars, international exchange events, and conferences between related organizations, serving itself as a medium for the government, businesses, academic and research institutes, and related agencies to connect with each other. There were positive responses for 20 some cases of seminars and 4 international events from political, industrial, academic, governmental, institutional parties in domestic and international water industry related fields.
