BURNLEY BACKYARD
e Burnley Backyard is a community initiative for the City of Yarra. 49 Tudor Street in Burnley, Victoria, was an old run-down community house that the Richmond Community Learning Centre (RCLC) wish to convert into a community garden. Visit their Facebook page and blog to discover more.

Burnley Backyard is a run-down location that will hopefully become a thriving community hub. It’s innercity location means that many residents nearby do not have yards of their own, and many that do are renting and unable to have fruit trees or plant vegetable gardens.

Veg Out in St Kilda is a non-pro"t community garden, in a two-acre lot adjacent from Luna Park. is vibrant ‘farm’ is unexpected in such a built up city location, additionally right next to the beach.

3 e Pop-Up Patch, Fed Square
THE POPUP PATCH
e Pop-Up Patch in Fed Square was the initiative of the two blokes from e Little Veggie Patch Co. is city space has veggie patches available for rent, made from old crates. It’s located on top of the commercial car garage in Federation Square. e patch also hosts workshops including scare crow making, beginners vegetable gardening, and holiday workshops for children.
