The debate has been attended by various nongovernmental organization representatives, students, environmental consultants, socio economic experts, civil society organization representatives and others to discuss, learn and enhance the knowledge about the scope of environmental degradation and socio economic aspect of climate change. The gathering discussed about various aspects of environmental degradation viz. global warming, greenhouse gas emission and carbon footprints and talked about the mitigation techniques. The increasing fossil fuel dependency and carbon emission thereby was one of the most important causes of concern. Energy independence and focusing on the renewable energy specifically solar was one the basic objectives of the debate. Renewable energy is the future. Enhancing the effectiveness of renewable energy and productivity would surely do wonders in sustaining a green growth economy. Increasing forestation and awareness also play a crucial role in mitigating ill impacts of environment and maintaining the socio ecological balance. The

The memorandum to save the natural environment has been sent to various governmental and nongovernmental organizations to start working on ground. The Green Watch Community has launched first of its free access journal on environmental aspects only, one of the first such initiative taken by in the name of "Green Watch”. The basic objective of this initiative is enhancing awareness and taking care for environment among the people especially children and youths. The community is committed to bring responsible backbones (in the form of responsible youths) in the coming years to maintain the ecological biodiversity. The green community from various backgrounds pledge about the initiatives for increasing environmental awareness, active participation in forestation, become a responsible consumer and contributes in the process of achieving the millennium development goals set by United Nations.
