Project Description Impacts
• To develop a reliable, transparent, cost-effective means of collecting and analysing energy data, including measuring and verifying energy savings
• March 2016- November 2017
Key objectives Partners
• Deliver intuitive web-based pre-commercial software tool that will provide:
- A systematic approach to executing energy audits
- A transparent, innovative and scientific means of M&V of savings
• Compatible with international standards
• Assess reliability by on-site testing
• Improve quality of energy audits and reduce associated costs
• Help clients to make more informed EE investment decisions
• Improve efficiency of energy management process by combining EA and M&V in one platform

Project Description Impacts
• Integrating NZEB retrofit with Air source Heat pumps & PV installations, optimizing performance & linking to customized tariffs will maximize savings.
• Q2 2017 to Q2 2019

• Develop integrated solution combining NZEB with optimized ASHP control & Smart Homes Energy Management• Expected outcome: 10-15%
improvement in ASHP performance.• Develop a clear business model for National
deployment• Expected outcome: Creation of new
commercial opportunities.
• Increased energy & environmental savings whilst maintaining home owner comfort
• Improved understanding of the impact of heat pumps on distributed network performance
• Understanding of how to use ToU tariffs to promote load shifting away from peak times
