CARBON CREDIT
A carbon credit is a generic term for any
tradable certificate or permit representing
the right to emit one ton of carbon dioxide
or the equivalent of another green house
gas .
Carbon credits are measured in units of
Certified Emission Reductions (CERs).
Each CER is equivalent to one ton of
carbon dioxide reduction.

of CO2 (Green House Gases) from
the atmosphere

At present, price of 1 carbon credit
is 10 Euro to 15 Euro
MARKET FOR CARBON TRADING……
Currently there are 5 Environmental
Exchanges, trading in Carbon Credits

earning Carbon Credit
