Working Process

• Screw conveyors(3) will convey the drilling

cuttings(solids) discharged out from shale shaker(1)

and mud cleaner(2) after treatment to the vertical

cutting dryer(4).

• The dryer will take oil or water from the drilling

cuttings, leading to the direct disposal of dried

enough cuttings(5); while the liquid(6) flows into a

catching tank(7) for storage where it will be

pumped into a decanter centrifuge(9) by a screw

pump(8) for further treatment to make more clean

liquid return to the whole active drilling mud

system(11).

By utilizing the GNDU2000 Series 20FT

dewatering unit, the result is a chemically

enhanced flocculation of colloidal and ultra-fine

drilled solids that can be efficiently removed

with a GN dewatering centrifuge.

stabilization /solidification unit provide a

n effective method for processing oil-

base waste and water based waste; In

a result, it produces an environmentally

safe, dry material that is acceptable for

onsite, or land farming disposal at an

approved waste facility.

Indirect Thermal Desorption applies heat to the

Oil Based Mud Drilled Cuttings while

isolating the flame from the cuttings. The oil vap

or is isolated, so it can be recovered,

condensed, and recycled, eliminating long-

term liability

Zero Discharge Solutions

Features & Benefits

(1) It is widely known traditional solids control

equipment like shale shaker, desander desilter,

and decanter centrifuge will removes solids upper

than 5 microns, for colloidal-size particles which is

less than 5 microns will build up in the drilling mud

system. To maintain the drilling mud properties,

the operators have to dilute the drilling fluids with

water, this consumes more water and create

more drilling waste.

(2) For limited and zero discharged closed loop

system, the GN dewatering unit is a very

important unit to keep the mud clean and reduce

the drilling waste which has to be sent for

treatment and disposal. Before entering the

dewatering phase, for the weighted drilling mud,

firstly it enters a barite recovery centrifuge to

recovery the barite to the active mud system.

Working Process

1) Drilling waste collection hopper collects all the drill

cuttings & drilling waste, which is transported to the mixing

chamber by the underneath screw conveyor at pre-set

capacity.

2) Cement storage box is keeping cements powder,

through the tubular screw conveyor, powders are sent to

the mixer at pre-set capacity.

3) In the same way, absorber is kept in a box, then sent to

the mixer by tubular screw conveyor.

4）There are 2ea 1.5inch liquid inlet, for water feeding,

liquid chemical feeding, located beside the mixer inlet.

5）The high-shear mixer mixes all the material, and push

to the front at the same time. When the solids go to the

discharge port, it is already mixed sufficiently, then

discharge.

6) Drilling waste is solidified by our innovative blending

technology and can be processed continually on-site. The

dosing rates of the absorber and the sludge, cements

powder can be adjusted accordingly. After processed, the

drilling cuttings are eco-friendly and environmentally safe

for disposal.

technology designed to separate hydrocarbons

from various matrices including oilfield waste, soil,

sludge, sand, filter-cake, tank and tanker bottoms,

organic-based hazardous waste and contaminated

soil in a non-oxidizing atmosphere without

destroying the hydrocarbons.

• GN Mobile TDU is popular for treatment of different

waste streams in particular oily sludge, drill

and consistency.

• High quality fiber glass to improve plastic quality and screen

temperature resistant to 140 C degree.

• Four side tension of mesh during the heat press to minimize the

gap between the top screen and support screens, in a result

extending the screen life. Our competitor normally do not use any

tension for heat press.

• GN 3 layer wire mesh for API 60 and above for longer screen life,
