Production

Mise-en-scene: The residents of the capitol wear bright and extravagant clothes reflecting their personalities and lifestyle. This is in contrast with residents of the districts who wear old and dull coloured clothes reflecting their mood and lifestyle.Cinematography: There are a lot of point of view shots which makes us feel as though we are there which instils fear in the audience. There are low angles shots used when the camera shows the head game keeper to make him look powerful and superior.Editing: There are a lot of fast paced editing to create tension and feeling of chaos to show so much going on.There is also eye-line match for example when katniss is looking at something then it cuts to what she is looking at which makes us see through her eyes and feel like were part of the game.
