Theme or focus of imagesThe theme running through all of these photos is life and death. This photographer is photographing very graphic and emotional images. We focus on what the doctors in each picture are doing, and begin to respect this as they are trying to save a life. These photos are full of emotion and concentration as we can see the tools, the injured and the people willing to help and save lives. The reason why the photographer has chosen to shot mostly in surgery as it’s something people don’t get to see unless you’re performing surgery. He’s giving us as an audience and insight on what graphic images some people have to deal with every day.CompositionIn each photo we notice there Is action going on within each frame. The photographer makes sure he doesn’t miss out anything that could be interesting and not usually seem by the public. For example in the very last photograph we see the operation being performed, the equipment the doctors are using, and what they are wearing. He includes enough information in the frame that we are interested and wants to see what else is In that room in the last photograph the photo looks like it’s been took as if the photographer is on his keens looking up at what’s going on. This makes us feel as we are watching them, above us doing something remarkable. Almost saying they are better and higher than us as they are doing something so good. This is a good shot to use, to let the audience know who's more important and dominant in the frame.Techniques usedThe photographer ha used a selection of different camera angles and effects on his photos. We straight away notice that each photograph is edited to be black and white. Which creates a timely, vintage look. Maybe suggesting this is a special legendary moment, and all these photos are special. He also chooses to blur out different corners of some photos, this makes the audience realise what they should focus on and what the dominant image is.Strengths & WeaknessesA strength from these photos would be the different types of camera angles the photographer uses, he hasn’t stuck to one particular shot he has varied this shots which provides the audience with a selection of different photos. He also makes

the photos look more unique by adding the black and white effect. A weakness would be that he didn’t have to use black and white on every single photograph, he could of put this effect on the ones he thought were full of emotion, and informative.
