Yate’s career first took off in 1985 and still

come’s out with new albums to this day

his first group he formed was in 1991 known as the “Black Mafia”

he first record deal was in 1993 to Perspective Records

His nick name (Tech N9ne) also came out around this time, it was given to him by a

rapper called Black Walt who came up with the name because of Aaron's fast rhyming style similar to a TEC-9 semi- automatic

This record was produced in 2001 by JCOR Records

his music is very controversial and rarely gets radio play

however, that has yet to stop his fans from following

• Tech N9ne is now one of the most recognized artists in the music industry, greatly due to his dynamic rhyme schemes and speed rap abilities
