Conclusion
The results above tell us that male and female young adults aged between 18 and 30 prefer music from the rock genre and they mostly watch music videos which appear on the Kerrang! TV channel. They prefer band which have members of both male and female genders who are seen as ‘professional’ in a concert environment. This age range is more inclined to watch a video which is predominantly performance based instead of having a narrative running through it.We came to the conclusion that this age would not be our target audience because we wanted to make a music video for an all male, pop band.
