PERMISSION PLANNING (contacting the car parks)…

By Beatrice Fatusin

Today Amy and myself made enquiries into the car parks we wanted to use for our location. We have been advised

by our media teachers to contact the car parks for permission to film there. I contacted the Tesco's in

Welling for permission to use their car park.

What I Wrote…

“Me and my three other class mates from Welling School Sixth Form (Specialist Arts College) are in the process of completing our Media Studies A Level Coursework; the main aim of our coursework is to design and film our own music video. We desire a car park as one of the locations of our music video, therefore we find your Tesco car park at your Welling branch a perfect location for our video due to the lighting and the amount of space within the car park. We have been asked by our A Level Media teachers to contact you for permission to use your car park. We will also be willing to pay the car park fee for the amount of hours we will spend filming there. We would be most grateful if you could give us the opportunity to film our music video in your car park as it would guarantee our music video to be even more of a success! Many thanks.”

What Amy wrote….

“Me and three of my classmates from Welling School Sixth Form, thought it would be nice to film part of our A-level music video in a car park. We thought that the car park in Royal Oak Road North road , Bexleyheath , DA6 7HG, would be a perfect location for this. We were advised to request permission to film there, rather than just turn up. We are happy to pay for a car park space, as we will be using a car in the video also. We hope to hear back, about whether or not we will be able to do this.”
