Plan for Double Page Spread QuestionsArticle based on: Kayleigh Watts – “MISS.

WATTS”Article Title: I’M DOWN FOR WATT-EVERIntroduction: Former rock star Kayleigh is back

with a bang, and is most certainly down for whatever. Recently single beauty reveals all...

And she’s not about to hold back.

Questions:Q. Firstly, lets start off with congratulating you on

your 3rd album, at the age of 20!A. I know it’s so crazy! I feel like this album will reach out to my fans

more on a personal level more than anything. I mean, I’ve been focussing on this album for a year now, and it’s good for it to finally be out, so thank you.

Q. What can we expect from this album?A. This album is really just a mix of all the sounds and styles from my

previous albums, however with this album I did experiment with new sounds and techniques. Some of my music is electronic, which is really different and I’m hoping the fans enjoy it.

Q. Where did the title “Back To Square 1” come from?A. I recently went through a very rough break-up with Pete Wentz, our

relationship was public and we had been together right from the start of my career. This album expresses the emotions

I was going through before and through-out the break-up. He was always there for me and helped me with my career, so when we split I felt like I was literally back to square one because life in the music industry with Pete was all I knew.Q. How is life now as a single lady? A. Honestly, this is the best I’ve ever been in a very long time,

and I don’t mean that out of spite towards my break-up, but being single has helped me grow as a person and improve my music. I am enjoying being single, and not being tied down to someone. I feel like I can devote myself to my fans and connect with them more, because that’s what’s most important, the fans. They’ve helped me so much through my break-up, and I will always be thankful towards them.

Q. Rumour has it you have quite a few collaborations on your new album?B. Yeah, I reached out to a bunch of close friends and came up

with some really awesome songs that have a new vibe. I’m really trying to experiment with different sounds and effects. 9 out of the 16 songs are collaborations. One of the collaborations is One Republic, and I have loved them since I was a teenager, it was such an honour to create a song with them, it’s actually one of my favourite collaborations.
