Nacho ArimanyNew World Jazz Quartet

Rooted in the Mediterranean flavors of Flamenco, West Africa and South India,

world-percussionist and multi-instrumentalist Nacho Arimany and his New World Jazz Quartet provide a colorful and powerful musical

experience fueled by a uniquely authentic approach to today's avant-garde jazz scene.

Original and Approachable

Uniquely Talented

Nacho is a master ethnic percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and film composer who began his music career at age six as a classical piano student and singer with the Spanish National Choir and Orchestra. Since his teens, Nacho has been immersed in the study of traditional music from around the world, specializing in African, Mediterranean, and South Indian rhythms.

As a world famous Flamenco percussionist or the foremost Flamenco Jazz innovator, Nacho continues to invent and re-define new forms of musical expression. Within this exceptional quartet, his cross-cultural music and vocal style integrates Modern Jazz, World Music, Flamenco and the natural resonance of the elemental instruments he plays. Nacho has toured globally, performed and recorded with Lionel Loueke and Angelique Kidjo (Benin), Lizz Wright (USA), Farah Siraj (Jordan), Yungchen Lhamo (Tibet) among other musical greats.
