Presence of Musical Style with Bossa Nova Bossa Nova is a must. There is nothing more suitable for chilling lounges, classy venues beachfront areas. United Arab Emirates -- Free-Press-Release.com -- Dec 14, 2016 -- The giant South American country was experiencing the euphoria of economic blooming after World War II. Over the "Golden Years" optimism wave, a group of young musicians and composers from the upper middle class of Rio de Janeiro began to look for something really new and capable of escaping the classic opera style that dominated the artistic scenario. Young, free and bold, the artists believed that Brazil could influence the world with its culture, and there it was. The new style did exactly what it was expected to. For most critics, Bossa Nova was officially introduced to the public in 1958, with a simple compact released by guitarist João Gilberto. A year later, the musician released his first LP, "Chega de Saudade". Funny fact, "Saudade" is substantive with no perfect translation to English. The closest we get would be something like "no more missing you". The album definitely checked presence of the musical style in the Brazilian scene. With the new notes came new partnerships meant to shine and become very successful, like the one between Tom Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes. The duo composed "Garota de Ipanema", which is undoubtedly one of the most important songs in the history of Brazilian music, so much so it was considered in 2005, one of the 50 great musical works of humanity. Soon the style debuted internationally. Among its most famous fans, Frank Sinatra, the blue eyes himself was crazy about the Brazilian new hit. In 1962, a historic concert at Carnegie Hall in New York, which included Tom Jobim, João Gilberto, Oscar Castro Neves, Agostinho dos Santos, LuizBonfá, Carlos Lyra, among other artists, pavedBossa Nova's way into international acknowledgment. Bossa Nova's main characteristics are the development of singing, rather than the appreciation of the "great voice", and the strong influence of American jazz, which at some point was an influence criticized by some artists. In the mid-1960s, a group formed by Marcos Valle, DoriCaymmi, Edu Lobo and Francis Hime sought to reconnect Bossa Nova with samba, baião, and xote from the Northeast. "Bossa Nova is a must. As most of the intellectual movements to be generated within a developing culture, the appreciated Brazilian musical style also became an important platform tocommunicate political issues during the military coup in 1964. The sweet notesbecame a symbol of resistance to repression. The dictatorship was consistentlycontested by the live music from the middle class across the entire country but moreexpressively in Rio de Janeiro, the stage where eyes were set.

It was hard times. Repression, suspicious arrests, deportations and unjustifiedimprisonments wrote sad chapters in the History of the beautiful country. In fact, themovement that originated the Bossa Nova ended in 1966, however, its chronologicalend did not mean the aesthetic extinction of the musical style, which served asreference for countless generations of artists and still delights and enchants thosewith sensitive ears and expanded musical taste, just like Tom Jobim, one of the mostinfluent artists of the time, "I was a beach boy, and I believe I learned my songs withthe birds of the Brazilian forests".
