MINUURA’S MISSION

Page 2: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

The planet keeps spinning, whether I want it to or not. All the chores around here leave me barely any time to rest, much less

to write down my thoughts.

Page 3: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Whee! Olaf likes puddle!”

Page 4: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“My flower, how could you betray me so? But I forgive you.”

Page 5: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“It is a shame that the fridge holds such a small amount of food. I will personally make sure that our fortress has a storage

larger than this entire room.”

“Th-this co-coffee makes me v-v-vibra-ate”

Page 6: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“And then, after checking off all the necessary preparations – “

“Give it a rest, warlock man.”

Page 7: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Empress! I believe it is time for what you bestowed upon me!”

Page 8: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Huh. I wonder why earthlings complain about this.”

“Ah, ze consequence de woohoo…”

Page 9: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Nargil gave birth to twin boys, which he promptly named Tsygan and Dezik. He laments over them not having his skin

complexion, apparently caused by his diet during the pregnancy.

After seeing reapers and ghosts, my surprisement phasers are at a constant zero.

Page 10: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Meanwhile, my own child just keeps on sprouting.

Page 11: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I am worried over not being able to give him a proper up-raising with so many people being dependent on me.

Page 12: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

The patients occasionally give a proper hand in helping, but I am also afraid of them having too much influence on the

forming of Russell’s personality.

Page 13: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Though perhaps the lack of a proper crib affects him more…

Page 14: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Does anyone else find it unfair to be imprisoned here while our ‘therapist’ is out there smooching?”

Page 15: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I admit that I have been avoiding some of my responsibilities, but I just can’t bear with it all, especially when everything comes

crashing down at the same time. So I resort to my consorts.

Page 16: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Even though the mistakes I’ve made keep haunting me…

Page 17: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

…and new ones keep arising.

Page 18: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I often feel unsuitable for this job. The patients are breaking down to smaller pieces by each passing day, and I don’t know how to fix it. I

don’t even bother contacting headquarters anymore, it’s like trying to ask a potted plant for advice.

Page 19: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Mister Reaper? Could you please move your business elsewhere before another accident happens?”

Page 20: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Like I mentioned upon the twins’ births, I am no longer surprised when something unexpected occurs. Not even when the double bed turns into a single one and the kitchen chairs go missing.

Page 21: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Just let me sleep already! What do you want?!”

Page 22: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“What do you think you’re looking at, huh?!”

“Talking to a cup de papier… Really healzy behaviour.”

Page 23: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

The piano isn’t played as often as it used to, and when it is, the tunes just add to the overall sense of madness.

Page 24: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Though I guess it’s good that the patients find harmless ways to amuse themselves.

“Quit zrowing so high! You almost hit my eye!”

Page 25: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Monsieur, zat is just nasty. Relieving yourself on a bébé!”

“I didn’t mean to, I swear!”

Page 26: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I’m very fortunate to have the gaming bosses give me paid vacation days, even though my workload keeps piling up because

of it.

Page 27: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

*casually whistling*

Page 28: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

So far Charles, Nargil, Olaf and Kris have passed away. Four lives that I haven’t been able to save.

JJ: “Good thing we’re not on a date right now.”

Page 29: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Varyo has been taking it the hardest. Not only due to his feelings towards Kris; he actually cared for the others and wanted to

maintain friends with them.I don’t think him playing in the road the other day was to keep

me from missing work…

Page 30: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

My biggest fear is for the children to give way as well.

Page 31: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

You’d think taking care of them would be easier the bigger they get, but it’s the opposite.

“Petit pauvre… you shouldn’t ‘ave been born ‘ere.”

Page 32: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

If this part of town wasn’t so damn peaceful and goodytwoshoes I would have gotten my hands on some cribs already, along with

some other necessities.

Page 33: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

One of the reasons I took up the gaming job is because it’s rather nearby (despite the carpool). I don’t dare venture into SimCity, even if it is to get my hands on some supplies: these

people don’t survive without me.

Page 34: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Or, well…

Poor Lenor.

Page 35: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

JJ was starting to feel a little washed out, so I started courting Jan as well. According to my diagnostic abilities they both fit

into the Romance category, so they shouldn’t mind it.Not that I’m outright telling them about the other.

Page 36: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“I’m so tired of seeing public canoodling every morning, you know?”

“Me too. By the way, can I have your phone number?”

Page 37: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Russell is maturing more and more for each day that goes by. I just hope the circumstances aren’t ripping too much of his

childhood away from him…

Page 38: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

He’s a very bouncy kid. He runs around a lot, sometimes even pulling pranks on the others.

Page 39: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I managed to get him a trial day at the local school, but he skipped the bus in order to get the sleep he needed.

Hearing things like that tear my heart.

Page 40: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

The gender stereotypes may have some truth in them: guys are not helpful when it comes to taking care of children.

Page 41: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

And thanks to some GENIUS knocking over the thrash can -

Page 42: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

- we now have roaches and a flu going around.

As if I didn’t have enough to think about as it is.

Page 43: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

The lack of beds has forced me to the coffee maker, which then forces me to go upstairs to use the bathroom, which is tiring and

therefore requires more coffee.

I hope I don’t get an addiction out of this.

Page 44: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I try to spend as much quality time with my child as possible.

Page 45: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Not just for the sake of family relationships, but to relieve the pain and hardships he and his surrogate brothers have to

witness.

Page 46: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Russell is such a trooper.

Page 47: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

He cries only when he thinks I can’t see him.

Page 48: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

It’s a shame that I had to gain experience first, but at long last I managed to win a battle against the dreaded reaper.

Page 49: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Zank you! I am eternally in debt!”

“Yeah could we save that hug for later? You stink of more than just corpse…”

Page 50: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

After letting Russell observe the little bit of hope we all carry with us that just may come true, I started seeing another side of

him… a crueler side.

Page 51: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I try to teach my son values to hold onto and roads to stick to, but I fear he might not take my lectures to heart.

Page 52: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

The twins just keep on growing…

Page 53: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

…and the night belongs to the ghosts.

“How dare she mistreat my spawn!”

Page 54: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“OLAF IS MAD ABOUT STARVING!”

“Et tu, Brute?!”

Page 55: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“AAAH! THIS IS WORSE THAN THE COCKROACHES!”

Page 56: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

When Sunday came around, I felt that Jan was no longer as interesting as I’d made her out to be. Of course we still spent

the day together.

Page 57: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Then, when night rolled around, the inevitable finally occurred.

Page 58: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Well, I guess there’s nothing else left to do.

Page 59: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Double-check that the door is locked…

Page 60: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

…and never look back.

Outtakes ->

Page 62: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“She’ll probably appreciate this DJ booth I got for her. I carefully picked it out to suit her needs and circumstances.”

Page 63: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Y’know JJ, helping out around the house is much more romantic than leaving rose bouquets at the door.”

“Nonsense, darling.”

Page 64: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“I’ll give that chick a DJ booth. Chicks love DJ booths.”

Page 65: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

If the stairs would have been blocked due to this my face would have come off either from laughing, crying or headdesking.

Probably all three.

Page 66: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

Behold, Bluewater Village Nursery!

Amount of deaths in the bathroom: 5 out of 8 totalAmount of deaths where a kid has been present: 7 out of 8 total

Page 67: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I wasn’t sure of what to do with the loveseat when I needed to down-size to one seat, so I deleted the whole thing and

replaced it with something similar motive and looks wise.

Apparently sims can snooze in it, but only autonomously :O

Page 68: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

“Mothership! Must alert mothership!”

Page 69: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Which reminds me…

Page 70: Minuura's Mission Asylum Challenge Week 3

I know you’ve been aching to find out, so here are the kids’ personalities. The alien twins are named after the first two dogs that were shot into space (but not into orbit). I think I’ll name all my aliens after Russians from here on out (it sounds so exotic, no?).

Russell

Dezik

Tsygan

(Alien eyes)

(Blue eyes)

Isn’t that a nice childhood so far?

I regulary checked Russell’s motives as he’s technically a continuation of Minuura, but I didn’t control him or the twins.

“Hello? Is anyone there?”

Happy simming, everybody!

(There may be an epilogue coming soon ;) )
