Fragrance of scents in the air, loud & rhythmic music, good looking models on the ramp and

psychedelic lights, these are the elements which make a fashion show just more than being an

event and when it is being organized by media staunch Rajasthan Patrika, things are bound to

become grandeur. Occasion was of the formal inaugural of 3rd edition of coveted Jaipur

Shopping Festival through a fascinating fashion show at Taj Jai Mahal Palace hotel, attended by

over 400 guests, coming from reputed families of Jaipur including, businessmen and some of the

regular page-3 people.

The fashion show was well choreographed, where designer duo Rohit and Abhishek Kamra, who

hail from Rajasthan, showcased their designs. Their latest collection boasted of casual wear in

the start of the show, followed by specially designed Nehru Jackets and bridal wear. The

embroidery of brass and unique material got the eye balls and was well received and appreciated

by the audience in the picturesque background of Jai Mahal Palace. The show under JSF was

called 'Jewels of Rajasthan'. The collection was put to display by models as per the theme, with

different flavor of music playing in the backdrop and lights shimmering. Both male and female

models rocked the ramp, setting it on fire with swags and styles, adorned in Indian, Indo-Western

and western attires (chiefly female models).

Keeping with the sync and intention of JSF, show stoppers of the evening belonged to Jaipur.

Bollywood actor Rajiv Khandelwal, Mahabharat fame Nirbhay Wadhwa and singer Ravindra

Upadhyay, who have made it big nationally and internationally, earning repute to the city were

magnum opus of the show. People hurled whistles, mostly women, once they walked down the

ramp with the designers.

Star cast of movie Jigariya also walked the ramp. Adding glamour quotient, Member of

Parliament and Olympic Silver Medalist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, felicitated the event with

his presence. Post winding up the show, Rathore congratulated all the credibles, who made the

event possible.

The celebrities seemed enchanted by the preparations and management of the show and gave

their warm regards to JSF. Speaking about the show, Rajiv Khandelwal said "People always

require an excuse to visit places and what better destination than Jaipur during the festive season

coupled with Jaipur Shopping festival. It draws tourists to look for our heritage. I stand with JSF

completely."

Encouraging the grand initiative of JSF, Rathore thanked Rajasthan Patrika, which is drawing

accolades to the city's heritage and culture. He wished this festival a great success.
