Moritz and Rasmus (Grade 4) came in and shared their fun fundraising idea with us: a second-hand toy fair. Students will be able to bring their unwanted toys in(not broken ones!) and sell them. Every seller will pay a fee to join in and that money will go to the Bosomtwe Community School.

The fundraising committee has a long list of carnivals, fun fairs ,parades and and, and, and, what I mean is the fundraising committee has a really long list of ideas.

The personal responsibility committee has made some posters to put up in the bathrooms, corridors and at reception.

The cafeteria committee is discussing behaviour and healthy eating.

The fund-raising committee is bursting with ideas. Some of the suggestions were fruit day, second-hand toy day, science day… They have sent an E-mail to Ms. Stiebert and Ms. Leatham to request a day. The cafeteria committee is discussing noise and behaviour problems.

The playground committee is sending a message to the nurses about a first-aid kit for every teacher.

Personal Responsibility committee is making posters for the bathrooms.

There are 300 flower bulbs ordered so far.

If your class wants to participate in greening the school, please place your order for flower bulbs

The school needs to be more careful with saving and recycling paper.We could organize Christmas boxes f or Ghana.There are problems on the staircase – one suggestion is to paint a line down the centre of the stairs with up and down arrows. We could put the noise traffi c lights in the stairwell.Table cleaning system – some people are not taking responsibilityWe need to practice the Lockdown procedure.Some students are getting to distracted with class pets.Should electronic games be allowed in school?Bulletin board with responsibilities posted on it f or jobs that need to be done.Library – there are set days to go to the library. being left where people trip over them Bell for lunch and recess rather than a whistle. Bathrooms- voices and behavior (slamming doors, inappropriate conversations) disturbs other classes Nurses are very busy –please don’t go to them when you have a minor injury that does not need their

attention Should we plant bulbs again? If so, this needs to be done ASAP! If your class wants to plant some, place

an order with JSC reps to bring to the meeting next week and we will order them for you.
