Title Thief Provide detailed descriptions from chosen examples that
establish Clearly state what production technique(s) you think have
been used to create specific soundtrack elements Setting At the
start of the cutscene with the audio alone I cant place what the
actual setting of the game is however with the background music
gives off a sense of mystery later on we hear a swirling sort of
sound which can give us more on the mystery side of this cutscene.
We also hear some heavy breathing with some swishing in the air
like a fight scene is happening. The background music was most
defiently produced by a orchestra as it has not electronic sounds
just traditional sounds in the cutscene. I also heard a bottle of
somewhat rolling around they would of used a directional microphone
on a hard and abandoned building to get the correct echo the sound
producer wanted to hear. To create the fight scene I believe they
would of acted out a fight scene and used both ambient and
directional microphones to collect the swishing sounds. Mood At the
beginning of the cutscene the mood is very mysterious, high with
tension as there is no real sound to achive such a mood but again
with the background audio it helps set the atmosphere a lot more.
To make the mood very mysterious they would of used a live
orchestra to create a piece of music that is just right to make the
viewer more immersed in the cutscene, putting them on the edge of
their seats. Game genre From the start the viewer can tell the game
has a sense of mystery or a sense of thrill to the game this is
because of the eeriness of the tone and the overall quietness of
just the audio track in the background. The background sound would
have been recorded by a live orchestra but they would of used both
ambient and directional sounds. The bottle and the footsteps would
of both been recorded in a isolated place to give it more of a echo
on their voices

From the beginning the viewr can hear a woman talking in a comfy
cheeky manner and after that you hear a man speaking in a not to
confident way almost nervous speaking then we hear a man speaking
of some inscription or a chant. I believe that this was created in
a sound proof room where no background sound can reach the
microphones also they would of used directional microphones to get
all of what they are saying.
