After this, Mr. Sherlock Holmes decides to interview each character to solve

the mystery and find who is guilty.

First, he starts with the teacher asking her about the mysterious phone call

and the man’s voice message: “Bring me the package right now!”. The

teacher replies that the man is her father and the package is a box of

yummy cupcakes, her father’s favorite dessert .

Then, Mr. Holmes asks to the butler about the contents in the lockbox. He

answers that it contains the savings of all his live that he wants to spend in

a trip around the world.

Afterwards, the detective questions the chef about the hole in the garden.

He responds that inside the whole there is a stamp collection about famous

soccer players. (This is his secret hobby).

Next, Sherlock interrogates the engineer and the plumber about the car’s

trunk. They say that inside it the rest of their tools are kept. They place

it for avoid losing it.

Finally, he meets the doctor and the chemist to talk about the dresses. They

tell him that these dresses are the costumes they are going to use in a

costume party at night.

Having found no evidences to catch the guilty visitor, Mr. Holmes decides to

gather all of them in the living room to find an answer.

When all of them explain the reasons of their

behaviours, the detective discovers that that night

only one person was not in the same place when all of

them listened the noises upstairs: The little girl.

So, he asks her where she was in that moment and Lisa answers that she

cannot remember because of her illness. In that moment Mr. White, the

butler, remembers that the girl usually walks asleep around the house at

night.

Thus, everybody discovers that Lisa suffers from somnambulism. In that way,

Mr. Holmes deduces that the little girl took the famous and beautiful jewel

while she was walking asleep that night.

After this, all of them search for the jewel in Lisa’s bedroom and find it

below her pillow.
