There is a little place called Bloodhoof Village in the valley of Mulgore where a young Tauren has been chosen to fulfill a destiny. This is his Legacy.

Bloodhoof village is a very small village; everyone knows each other and involves each other in their everyday lives. Everybody goes to the same school with the same teacher. They all shop at the same market from the same friends. They all sit by the fire at night and tell stories and myths of their people.

Drakathas was born into the Bloodhoof Protarus Family. His Father was the Miner of the village. He sold the ore to the blacksmiths and jewel crafters, also his dearest friends. Drakathas’ mother was interested in flowers and herbals. He would spend much time as a young tauren with his parents learning about rare ores and herbs. He was always told “…knowledge of this kind could always put food on the table…”.

When Drakathas was roughly 11 winters, he started noticing a bond with animals he could not explain. He would be with his Father mining and he could feel the animals around him pulsating in his soul. They felt him, too; they would follow him and his father around Mulgore watching what they do, but never getting close. One day Drakathas decided to approach one of the wild beasts. He slowly walked up to the Swoop as not to alarm him, but when the Swoop noticed him, he attacked full force. Drakathas’ instincts told him to focus on this connection he felt. After being beaten up for a bit, the Swoop stopped attacking and rested by his side. Drakathas just stood there looking at the creature. He began to feel dizzy and his vision was blurred. A voice started yelling words in a language Drakathas did not understand. Drakathas fell to his hands and knees yelling, “Stop! Ah! Stop it!” He fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

A whisper runs through Drakathas’ mind before he wakes.“Teal.”

Drakathas wakes up in his room, confused on how he got there. His mother walks in the room.“How you feeling, Drakathas? Looks like you took quite a fall.”“I, um, I don’t know,” replies Drakathas.“Well, we found you out in the plains. This wretched bird would not stop following us all the way home.”Drakathas’ Mother points to the Swoop on the top of the teepee. Drakathas walks outside and sits down. The Swoops flies down and sits by his side. Drakathas looks at the bird.“Teal?”The Swoop appeared to nod in agreement.

Drakathas and Teal became the best of friends. She would wait for him at school in a tree. They would go out after school and play in the woods. She would stay perched outside his house at night in a tree, never leaving his side. Drakathas and Teal were inseparable, but this was not necessarily a good thing. Drakathas began to fade away from his friends and family. He began to detach himself from society.

Three winters pass.Drakathas’ abilities with the animals have increased tremendously, as has his senses. He has the

speed of a cheetah, the sight of a hawk, the agility of a monkey, and the stamina of a viper. He is self sufficient at spending weeks at a time in the woods, exploring with his best friend, Teal. Together, they hunt for food for his family so his Father can spend more time at home with his Mother. Drakathas knows he hasn’t been home, but he knows there is time to make up for it. Bloodhoof Village does not get very many hunter volunteers at Drakathas’ age, so they gave him the nickname Drak the Hunter.

Two winters pass.Drak and Teal are out hunting in the north end of Mulgore. Thunder clashes from Stonetalon

Mountains. “That’s odd, Teal, I don’t see any clouds or smell rain?” says Drakathas. He looks at Teal, signaling her to follow him. Another loud clap of thunder booms from the mountain.“Whoa!” exclaims Drak, “Run!” Teal screeches and flies behind Drak.Another loud boom of thunder, even louder than the last. “C’mon, Teal, we’re almost there!” … “Teal?”Drakathas stops running and turns to see Teal on the ground. Drakathas kneels before her, “Teal?”Teal does not respond. Another loud clap of thunder from the mountains. Drak looks up to see a wall of soldiers storming down the mountain side. He notices one of them is carrying a blue flag. He looks at his best friend, and runs home.

When Drak gets home, the village is already prepared for the attack, as best as they can. Drak’s Father tells him to go hide in his room with his mother. He runs to the house and opens a trap door to a hole his father built under the teepee. Drak and his mother hide in the hole, listening to the screams of their friends and family. After what seems an eternity, all has gone quiet. Drak and his mother wait silently to hear anything. The trap door flies open and a large elf creature pulls his mother right out of the hole with some sort of magic. This elf then morphs into a bear and starts doing unmentionable things to his mother before eventually killing her. Drak sits in the corner, terrified. The elf approaches Drak and says, “You will live to tell this story, but not without proof.”Drak inches his way back to where is his bed is; where his gun is. The elf raises a mighty, glowing red axe over his head and lunges at Drak, he watches as half of his horn falls to the ground. He grips the gun, whips it around and shoots the elf in the cheek. The elf screams in pain and vanishes. Drak walks outside to see his village burning. He runs. He runs as fast as he can to nowhere. He didn’t know what to do.

When he stops running, he falls to the ground and cries. As he lies on the ground, the creatures of the forest begin to surround him. “Go away! I don’t want you!” yells Drak. The animals approach him slowly.A whisper floats through Drak’s head, “Teal.”As Drak looks around him, he notices all of the creatures focused on him, some sitting, some kneeling, some eating, but they were all focused on him. Another whisper comes to Drak, “I have always been your guardian, Drakathas, and I will not leave you. I will guide you and whichever creature you decide to bring along your path. You journey begins here, Drakathas. I cannot tell you anymore than this: The soldiers whom raided your village are known as the Alliance. The struggle has been happening for thousand’s of years, and you play a role. Now, seek you an animal to help you on your journey and run away from here.”

“I only ask one thing, Teal, you bring me to the guy with the scar on his cheek.”“You’re time will come, Drak, now go.”

12 winters passDrakathas and Teal (he calls any of his pets Teal because he knows who it really is) explore all of

Azzaroth. He trains, hunts, strives to become stronger, better and more efficient, for he knows one day he will be called upon. He has learned to communicate with animals around him and is very efficient at Beast Mastery. He has not been the everyday life of the people, however, most of his time he has spent alone the woods. He calls upon his beast friends for help when he needs it. He mines ores and picks rare herbs, selling them at local markets.

While at a local market one day, Drakathas was approached by an elf name Tsurara. This elf did not look like the elf he shot as a young tauren. He would come to find out he was looking for a Night Elf. Tsurara

told him about her clan and asked Drak if he would be interested. Is this the destiny Teal has talked about?
