• Do not buy junk food to “reward” yourself

• Use store flyers to plan meals– Be the basis of shopping list

• Make a list and stay to it• Estimate a running total of products

that you have in your basket. Do not overspend your budget.

• Use leftovers quickly do not let them go to waste

• Take the list of things to buy and find prices for them in the flyers. If more than one price, write down both.

• Estimate the total cost for buying your list write your estimated total

• Sum the actual costs how good was your estimate
