Why Chris Robinson?

• The first video I saw in which was under his direction was Nas – I know I can.

• The majority of music I like and prefer are directed by Chris Robinson.

• Growing up in the area and with the people I had around me, the type of music I listened to was constant and often ranged within 2 specific genres Hip-hop and R&B.

• With that the majority of music within these genres where directed by certain people and Chris Robinson was one of them.

• When watching this videos Nas – I can directed by Chris Robinson I am instantly reminded of the movies such as Step- Up, in a sense that the whole attitude of the video is the whole I can attitude, despite being brought up in a rough, run down neighborhood.

You get the videos that have a simple plain but bold background colour with a lot of graphics or close ups, because the song doesn’t really have a story to narrate.
