“The Fallen”

The Audience• The current fan base are males and females who

like metal, rock and indie and aged between 18-35 but we are going to expand into newer audiences.

Unique opportunity: The BBC have been informed of our music video

and have asked for the music video to be shown as long as it hasn’t got and offensive or adult lyrics or images as

well as a interview.

This unique occurrence will create a large outlet as well as grab a large

amount of new fans

The Song

Previous Ideas• Art Of War: Animated, Surrealist Music video

following cartoon versions of the band members as the go through the literal war machine this would also include performance footage as well as iconic posters of the era

• The live performance: We also considered filming the band play live during a concert taking place near a location that would have relevance to the WW I. this is our back up idea that costs less and

Final Idea• (Documentary, Backstage, Journey,

Performance, narrative)

• Documentary/ Backstage/ Journey: we follow the band members in real life as they follow in the foot steps of their ancestors

• Performance/ Narrative: During parts of the song we cut to the band members playing their instruments dressed as their ancestors

• BBC 1: have offered to play our music video on Remembrance Day 2012 (Extra outlet)

• Imperial War Museum: For letting us shoot in the museum as well as HMS Belfast

Requirements• Locations: £3,200

(these locations are essential to the plan and narrative of the music video)

• Costume & Props: £7731 (thanks to our partnership with History Bunker and the Imperial War Museum for a discount price we will attain the uniforms and props required)

• Equipment: £12,720.80 (cameras, Tripods, Lighting…)

• Services: £8,108.80 (for editing suits, tech managers and food and board)

• Travel by Ferry and Car: £2387

• Total production budget £31,760.60

Location: Imperial War Museum and HMS Belfast

• For segments for both the live performance and the documentary section of the music video we will be shooting on both these historic monuments we have attained the permission from the Imperial War museum who own both sites.

Location: France Bethune, Somme • Here we will be shooting the re-

enactment segments as well as the performance segments we have attained permission form the cemetery board of officials and the local councils

Location: Sutton & Banstead Surry

• Here is the beginning of the music video we have attained permission to shoot here from the local Council and permission to shoot on church grounds from the head priest.
