Example 2: What Went Well?

Good range of cutaways:

I liked this because there was use of cutaways

which allowed emphasis on the point made by

the narrator or/ and also the presenter.

Good use of animations:

I enjoyed the use of animations also as it was a

different visual experience addressing a

particular a particular topic with a more light

hearted approach.

Good use of public and expert interviews:

I enjoyed it because it showed the expert

interviews which gave reasons why particular

things had happened but also the public

interviews explored how society reacts to things

and how they either accept or reject it.

Example 2:Even Better If?

Headings:

If headings were used to introduce or to identify

who that particular person was.

Better placement of cutaways:

If they had the cutaway spaced out instead of

having two back to back in the introduction

which was lengthy.

More Expert Interviews:

I would have thought it would have been more

knowledgeable if they had got more than one

expert interview which would then show

different approaches or similar in the experts

position.

allows the audience to grab more

information, as to how they’re trying to

emphasize the topic they’re focusing

the audience a chance to understand

the information better from a more

professional point of view

Animation – This makes the

information more clearer to audience,

and it keeps them engaged with the

programme

they had more use of cutaways – this will help keep the audience interested

They had used score music in the beginning, so that the audience won’t get

bored easily and just listening to the voiceover

They had experimented more with the camera angles
