I can see from this result that most people prefer to go to gigs rather than clubs. This means that if I decide to include a competition to win something, I could include a competition to win gig tickets. Also this means that it would be a good idea to include a page showing tour dates of different artists.

When I asked what people were first drawn to in a magazine, it is clear that most people said photos. This suggests that I should make the main image on my front cover really stand out and catch the reader’s eye because I know it is the first thing that people will see. The photo should be interesting and relate well to the audience so that they feel part of the image in which they will see before anything else.

I can see from this, that the majority of people who answered my questionnaire, said that they would be willing to pay between £2 - £3. This means that I will price my magazine between £2 - £3 because I now know that it is a fairly reasonable price which people are willing to pay.

Looking at this I can see that most people get their music on the internet. This means that if I decide to put some free music in the magazine, I will put a free download from iTunes, rather than a free CD.

The majority of people who answered my questionnaire said they weren't bothered about competitions in magazines. This makes it very clear that people generally buy magazines for the information about artists and music rather than the competitions. This made me realise that I don’t have to worry about whether to put competitions in my magazine because people generally aren’t bothered.

92% of people said that they buy their magazines in shops. This is a very high percentage, compared to buying online . I now know that I should definitely sell my magazine in shops because it will get much more custom.

The majority of people said that they like having a free gift with the magazine, therefore there is a very high chance that I will include one with my magazine because the customers will like it. This could draw more people in to buy it and also bring people to buy it again, each time it comes out.

Most people seem to listen to their music on an iPod/portable device. This means that if I want to give away any free music or do a competition to win music, then I will make sure that it is to get/win downloads, from a site like iTunes for example. Because people generally seem to download music and generally listen to music on a portable device.
