*Born in 1939, Judy Collins has entertained crowds with song since the age of 13. Although primarily known for folk songs, Collins made her first public appearance playing Mozart's “Concerto for Two Pianos” while an adolescent. Subsequently, she discovered the works of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, which inspired her to switch her focus to the guitar and away from classical music.
