We are pleased to share with you a digital adventure spreading the colors of Lebanon. KARIM, HADI & LAMICE are Lebanese expatriates. They lead a double life between their work and their innovative and self-funded projects, which proudly support their Lebanese origin and their passion for technology. They created 3 digital projects available on major download platforms - iTunes and Google Play, and have found an audience: - "100 Lebanese Recipes" – more than 15 000 users - www.LebGuide.com/app/. - Keefak – more than 10 000 users - www.keefaktheapp.com. - Lamice – more than 46 000 fans over the social networks - www.lamice.com. Through this Press Release they present to the public the 1st step of their collaboration within the "100 Lebanese Recipes" application. Other ideas are under development. Meanwhile, KARIM, HADI & LAMICE found out they are all 3 members of the A.F.P.I. – Franco-Lebanese Association of Information Technology Professionals - founded in 1991. They will finally meet in person on the occasion of the annual dinner of the A.F.P.I., on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Le Cercle de l’Union interalliée, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.

3 Lebanese expatriates proud of their Lebanese culture and fans of technology collaborate virtually and innovate!

Karim, Hadi & Lamice surf the web since the 90s. The 3 expatriates lead a double life between their work and their innovative and self-funded projects, which proudly support their Lebanese origin and passion for technology.

Karim created one of the first web portals about tourism in Lebanon, in 1998 - www.LebGuide.com. He pursues a career in international business development in the Telecoms. In 2010, he launches a mobile application of Lebanese recipes available in 5 languages - English, French, Spanish, Arabic and German - the country of his current residence: "100 Lebanese Recipes" www.LebGuide.com/app/.

Hadi evolved within large French firms and created in 2011 his consulting company specialized in Cyber Security and Digital Media. In 2012, he launches "Keefak" to learn the Lebanese dialect from 4 languages - English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, the language of his current residence: www.keefaktheapp.com. He leads a team abroad: Antoine (France) Rawad (Germany), Joseph (Lebanon) and Jana (Lebanon).

Lamice started in the web industry in 1998. She pursues a career in business consulting and set up her own business in 2006. In parallel, she launches the first phase of her digital music project with the creation of her songs - in English, the international language. In 2011, she launches her first e-single "Summer Days" through her website www.lamice.com. She believes in a new way for artists to exist through technologies. All 3 have in common the love of their country of origin, their international awareness, their passion for technology, their entrepreneurship and energy to implement their ideas in parallel of challenging professional lives. The 3 projects are available on all the digital platforms such as iTunes and Google Play, thus, reflecting the quality and relevance of their offers **. And the 3 have already reached an audience:

"100 Lebanese Recipes" by LebGuide – more than 15 000 users.

Keefak – more than 10 000 users.

Lamice – more than 46 000 fans over the social networks.

The virtual roads of Karim, Hadi & Lamice intersect, when in respect of each other's projects, they push creativity and collaborate to find innovative ideas to offer to their users. Without ever meeting in person, they brainstorm via the communication tools (skype, whatsapp ...). They trust each other naturally and share common values of transparency, quality and win-win. One day, the entrepreneurs find out they are all 3 members of the A.F.P.I. – Franco-Lebanese Association of Information Technology Professionals - founded in 1991. The A.F.P.I. promotes Lebanese expertise in technology in Europe and has more than 500 French and Franco-Lebanese members representing more than 100 companies in ICT sector.

Karim, Hadi & Lamice present to the public the 1st

step of their collaboration within the "100 Lebanese Recipes"* application: - A « Sing & Cook » functionality to listen to Lamice’s song while cooking. - Lamice’s 5 favorite recipes. - An audio functionality from Keefak to hear the name of the recipe in Lebanese.

Other ideas are being developed and will be announced on their social networks. Meanwhile, Karim, Hadi &

Lamice will finally meet in person on the occasion of the annual dinner of the A.F.P.I., Friday, June 7, 2013 at Le Cercle de l’Union interalliée, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.
