Fantasy Hip Hop Rises to the Top at the GDC

On Wednesday, March 7 Fantasy Hip Hop seized the opportunity to enter in the “Get-in-the-Game” pitch during the GDC (Game Developers Conference). FHH entered the final round in the top 5. While the Fantasy Hip Hop had the best pitch by far, YetiZen chose the one team of the 5 with an already-released product. After an exciting presentation, FHH was overwhelmed by the audience response and was mobbed by a group of investors, game designers and YetiZen staff for video interviews.

We will also be attending a valuable networking opportunity at YetiZen - March Mixer MadnessTuesday, March 27, 2012.

Most importantly, the CEO of YetiZen, Sana N. Choudary, extended a personal invitation to Jason to participate in the August accelerator round.

Fantasy Hip Hop Secures Valuable Partnership with Game Dojos

The most exciting development involving Game Dojos will provide the most critical partnership which will help solidify the future success of Fantasy Hip Hop. Game Dojos, helmed by Ann Burkett of It Girl! and Top Girl! fame and Simon Amarasingham co-founder of dsonic and mentored by industry innovators, has given given Fantasy Hip Hop the key to an important door: Acceptance to their accelerator. Not only is our company considered to be “mature” by their standards due to our successful completion of the fundraising hurdle, Game Dojos will be providing game advisory and deal negotiation services when it comes time to work with big publishers and investors.Most importantly, Game Dojos have committed themselves to raising more money on our behalf over the next two years.Additional benefits FHH will enjoy as a Game Dojos partner are:* Access to large discovery and distribution networks* An overall support system which will provide us with a deeper understanding of specialized game markets Fantasy Hip Hop will attend the "Designing for Monetization" session on Monday, March 26th led by Cynthia Woll best known for her work as Creative Director for Disney Mobile for the critically-acclaimed iPhone game “Where’s My Water?”
