Within the increasing water demand and its decreasing availability, water information, management and decision support tools are essential for presenting meaningful and personalized information about water usage, price, and availability in an intuitive and interactive way to end-users for taking water saving actions. Building such tools requires the integration of various types of data such as : Sensor Data, Sensor Meta Data, Enterprise data, Open Data, Social media data , etc. We link this data using customized adapters following best practices and recommendations for ingesting real-time, historical and open data in order to build customized applications for our 4 different pilots. 3 (0) 91 492973 | email: [email protected] |web: www.watern • Historical water consumption data from existing systems Real-time data from water sensors/meters • Entities describing sensors, outlets, locations, etc. • Open Data including water pricing, drought monitoring, etc. A dataspace as one stop shop for all data Easy integration of new data sources • Reduced data integration costs • Pay As You Go data management • Use of standards and Open Data Contact project partner INSIGHT@NUIG today and make an appointment to discuss how Waternomics can help with the design of your sustainable building.
