PRELIMINARY DESIGN METHODOLOGY

Roof Top Layout Designing Based On :

•Column size ,should not be > 6”

•Site (commercial ,residential building) structural condition

•Slab thickness should not be >150mm

•Other structural perspective to ensure building is safe for further construction /implementation work

• Design proposal furnished as per client requirements

• Plot size or area that need to acquired

•Area that need to be acquire must be sufficient enough to design raft foundation as per edb standards.

LIMITATION

•DG pads cannot be proposed at Raft foundation.

• Detail drawings designed over approved layouts by client

•Detailing of Reinforcement in structural members designing

•Reinforcement shall be grade 60 in accordance with ASTMA615

•Raft size design according to bearing capacity ,that would be provided after soil test .

•All reinforced concrete design is according to ACI318-05

•Structural steel design is according to AISC.

FEASIBILITY DOCUMENTSSOIL REPORT:

For green field sites soil test perform in order to evaluate• Bearing capacity of soil • Water ground level• Soil type• Accurate site level w.r.t road level

BUILDING EVALUATION REPORT:

•BER merge the information of exiting structure to ensure weather building columns /beams and foundation feasible to take the additional load imposed due to telecommunication tower and further construction

STRUCTURE STABILITY CERTIFICATE:

•SSC’S issued to ensure that design structure is safe and designed in accordance with latest standard specification including wind pressure and earthquake effects.

•SSC’S certified after completely checking the area, where the further construction required.

•Check additional stresses in columns and pressure on footings due to dead load.

•Check additional stresses in columns and pressure on footings due to wind load.

•Calculate the reactions on the columns and footings.
